Common questions
Do I pick a plan or pay as I go?+
Starter and Pro are monthly plans with an included allowance. New accounts get a free 2-hour trial that doesn’t renew. When a monthly allowance is used, live capture pauses until you upgrade or the next billing period: there is no overage billing. Event is pay-as-you-go at $5/hr/language (clear voice included). Request activation from Billing → Change plan, or use the estimator above.
What is session time?+
One hour your session is live with the speaker microphone on. We bill in one-second increments with a 5-minute minimum per session. Setup time and pauses with the mic off are not counted.
How are target languages counted?+
Event bills each active translation language while the session is live (hours × languages × the language-hour rate). Starter and Pro include a fixed number of languages at once from the full catalog; attendees pick among the languages you enable for that service.
Does audience size change the price?+
On Event, crowd size does not change the language-hour rate (self-serve up to 500 peak listeners; larger events: contact us). Starter and Pro include audience delivery in the monthly allowance.
What is spoken voice?+
Clear spoken voice during Listen mode. On Event it is included in the language-hour rate. On Free, Starter, and Pro, included clear-voice hours match each plan’s session time; when that allowance is used, Listen mode falls back to device voice.
What is Smart script extract?+
Smart extract pulls recognition vocabulary from your sermon notes or outline: names and phrases speech recognition often mishears. Starter includes 20 per month, Pro 100, Event 10. Free and over-allowance use Basic extract (on-device, free). Files are still read on your device; only the text is sent when you run Smart extract.
