Sessions

Create a session

Set the spoken language and the translation languages for your audience.

Spoken and translation languages

The spoken language is what the speaker actually uses. Translation languages are what attendees read. Pick the spoken language carefully: a mismatch lowers recognition and translation quality.

  • Choose only the translation languages you truly need; fewer languages are easier to keep accurate.
  • Target languages can be hidden per screen later on the display, without changing the session.

Session vocabulary (optional)

After you create a session, open Prep vocabulary on the speaker dashboard to add names or terms for this event only. Those terms merge with your organization recognition vocabulary.

Use session vocabulary for one-off guest speakers or event-specific terms. Keep recurring terms in Vocabulary on the dashboard so every session benefits.
